Kyra Rodriguez is a passionate photographer dedicated to capturing authentic moments and creating conceptual art through her lens.

Kyra started her photographic career in the darkroom, photographing for her high school newspaper in upstate New York. Following Highschool she attended Montana State University in the Film and TV department where Rudy Dietrich was at the forefront of digital photography.

In 2008, her travels took her to South Korea, where she became a photographer and graphic designer for USAG-Humphreys' marketing department.  Throughout her 30 year career, Kyra has become a Multi-disciplined photographer taking advantage of where she is and the needs of her audience. She has done many portfolios to include weddings, portraits, product, website, landscape and concept. 

In 2024, Kyra decided it was time to finish the photography degree she began in 1989 at MSU. The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) seemed the best university to complete this task. SCAD has stretched her artistic abilities and has given her a unique opportunity to learn from classmates 2 and 3 decades her junior. New concepts, platforms and media are challenging Kyra to reach new levels not only in her photography but her artistry.
